Does Email Marketing Really Work?

Most successful internet marketers rely on this form of marketing for the majority of their sales. But can this really work for your scrapbooking business?
As the name implies, email marketing is a form of marketing done via email. Recipients sign up to receive emails from the business owner, usually in the form of a newsletter. It may also be a notification, tips or list for special offers. As a business owner, you will also want to include promotions for your product or service.
In a perfect world, the reader reads these emails, learns about the promotion and becomes a customer. Sounds simple – and it is, but there are also variables along the path to making this a successful way to market a business.
As with any marketing tool, there are some cons to email marketing. Don’t let that stop you from trying this technique, as these can be easily overcome. Let’s go over some obstacles and how to overcome them.
The first obstacle is list management. When a new subscriber send you their information in order to be added, you would have to manually add each subscriber. You also want to consider confirming the subscription to be sure they do intend to receive information from you and doesn’t later report you for spam. The same is true for those who want to unsubscribed. Again, if they had to send you an email and you had to personally remove them, you would be spending way too much time managing your list.
This can be avoided by using an autoresponder service that allows people to sign up and remove themselves. Autoresponders also help your emails get delivered and avoid getting caught in spam filters.
Another email marketing obstacle to overcome is getting your readers to open their emails. This can be avoided by creating interesting subject lines that get your readers’ attention. Avoid using issue numbers or generic subject lines that your subscribers will quickly delete.
Obstacle three involves the fear of running out of ideas of what to write in their emails. To generate some ideas, try writing out all the questions your readers may have about the benefits your products or services may offer them. Another idea is to simply ask your readers what they would like to see or learn about.
Don’t let these obstacles hinder you, overcome them! Email marketing offers many benefits including its ease to use, affordability and allows you to build relationships with your customers. Establishing a relationship with your subscriber is crucial to turn them into a customer or repeat customer.

eMail marketing is VERY effective yet it is always mass emails and often come from “do-not-reply” addresses. These emails also arrive with a red x where there are pictures and then the recipient must right-click to download – this is where over 50% are lost as people hit the delete button.
Seems like WrapMail is the only company that seamlessly focuses on the REGULAR external emails we all send every day:
You have a website.
You send emails.
WrapMail, without installing anything on any desktop or cell phone facilitates:
Every email becomes a showpiece for the organization.
Every employee becomes a marketer.
No other marketing or advertising medium is as targeted as an email between people that know each other (as opposed to mass emails). These emails are always read and typically kept.
WrapMail turns your everyday email into a branding and research tool (yes, the system reports who is clicking on what and when) for your business at a cost of $5 per user per month. That includes the WrapMaker™ where clients make their own wraps.
And……..WrapMail’s show up WITHOUT the red x and message to download images!
