Think about your natural talents and abilities. These are your assets. Not everyone has the same ability you do. While these talents come naturally to you, others who don’t have your natural ability would gladly pay for your services. Do you ever hear “you have such a natural way of doing that”? Or something similar. You may be taking for granted something that comes easily to you.

To increase your chance of succeeding, you should concentrate your efforts on something you enjoy. When you start out, make a list of everything you find interesting. Then in a second column, write down the skills you have in relation to each of those items. This will help you narrow choices down based on interest and skill, which gets you started in the right direction for success.

Don’t aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally. ~David Frost

To succeed, you need to have dreams and aspirations. Be honest with yourself as to what you want out of your business and what you want to give of your business. Allow your mind to dream and think big.

3 Steps to Make Your Dreams into Reality
Everyone has a dream many dreams actually but few believe that they can actually achieve them. Nevertheless, some people achieve their dreams while others live lives of regret. Some are inspired and follow through, while others delay or give up entirely on their dreams in exchange for whatever excuses they comfort themselves with.

What are the factors that make that difference between the person who achieves and the one who regrets?

Here are three simple steps you can take to help you live the life of your
dreams:

1. Motivation. Everyone has their own motivations for their dreams. Consider what motivates you towards your goal. It could be financial freedom, more free time, or your dream vacation. Whatever it is, remind yourself of it on a daily basis.

For example, having pictures of your dream vacation spot hung on the fridge or in your work space will remind you of your dream and refresh your mind with motivation.

You might think there is no correlation between complaining and success when in fact there is a connection.  When you are spending time complaining about the obstacles you are facing, you are wasting so much time being negative that you are actually blocking chances to move forward.  Instead of thinking of challenges as problems, think of them as opportunities.

This is more for me today. :( I’ve been frustrated all morning because the harder I try to work the less I get done. I’ve been interrupted more times than I can count. Ok, enough…no more complaining!

The Top 3 Money-Making “To Do” Activities

I’ve always been impressed with those who can take overwhelming things and handle them with ease and poise. It never seemed to work that way for me, until I discovered the secret for tackling those daunting tasks.

The secret is simple: make things simple!

With just about every major undertaking, things can be simplified into a handful of “core” components. That makes them manageable. Manageable fosters productivity simply because I can work on something that seems accomplishable. And when productivity goes up, desired results come.

I received the following question from one of my clients…

“If you have to pick, what would you say are the top 2 or 3 things we should concentrate on? I’ve heard the domain/site(blog) are the most important, then others say writing info products, others say lists. For short term and long term investment, what is the most important things to be working on?”

This client wants things simplified. And rightly so. He knows the secret to success is getting things down into manageable chunks.

No matter where you are on your scrapbook business journey, setbacks can cause disappointment and a loss of momentum.

Whether it’s a new customer you’re wanting to attract or an overall appreciation of your business, every step towards fulfillment can seem financially, emotionally, or psychologically draining from time to time.

To boost your confidence, here’s a list of the top 10 power words and tips to keep you motivated and passionate, no matter what life throws your way:

1. Purpose. Whenever you’re feeling discouraged or disappointed, always remember your original purpose. Reminding yourself of the original reason for venturing down your path in the first place will help refresh your mind when things don’t go your way.

2. Planning. Though you may think that you’ve done enough planning towards the fulfillment of your goal, thinking it through again will help eliminate aspects of your plan of action that may be causing you setbacks. Put all your thoughts down on paper, from the smallest details to the larger ones.

  • Being able to see the timeline of your mission will help you focus on taking one step at a time to reach your goals.
