Work at Home Moms Online Business Coaching & Networking

There is so much I can say about Mom Masterminds. When I was first starting out with my first website I was frustrated because of certain things I didn’t know how to do. That was I believe in 2004.

I barely knew how to create a web page with links in it. I remember so clearly Alice walking me through my first Pay Per Click Campaign, and through learning that I discovered how to create an autoresponder follow up. I can really see how far I’ve come in creating my presence online. Fast forward to 2008 and there’s almost nothing I can’t tackle because of the knowledge I can tap into when I’m inside Mom Masterminds.

It’s very common now to hear of people landing publicity on tv, newpapers, and magazines. Even myself, I’ve received publicity that I never thought I’d be a part of. Which reminds me that’s one thing I want to tackle this year and that’s my media page.

Create a plan today for getting the word out about any upcoming business projects you have, a new website you want to promote, or services you want to add to your business.

Ezines - In addition to talking about and promoting your business in your own ezine, advertise your upcoming projects in relevant ezines.  Don’t forget to chat up the event in any partner’s ezine too. It’s great free exposure for me.  Additionally if you offer reprint rights, other people can use your articles free of charge, in exchange for displaying your contact information, links to your site, and giving you credit for the writing.  With any e-zine, the general rule of thumb is 80% content 20% promotion.

Blogs - Blogs, like ezines, are excellent free publicity. Not only can you promote on your own blog, you can guest blog on relevant blogs and promote your event there.  Use the 80/20 rule here too.

Press releases
-  Tell the world about your project by issuing a press release or two. If you release it in stages you can issue a press release for every stage of the release.  Press releases can be distributed both online and off.

Advertise
-  Order advertising space, billboard space, and radio and TV time.   Don’t forget PPC campaigns.  A highly targeted pay per click campaign can generate new members for your list and new prospective customers.

Well I had quite the night! I had to cut my winner message down short lastnight and just basically list the winners because I had 2 sick children in the house. My daughter (15) is reacting to her chemo, and my daughter (5) was yelling for me to sit with her. I brought her upstairs and she was sick. So my night ended up with alot of cuddling both girls.

Now they’re both still sleeping and it’s Saturday morning at 10:30am and I decided to finally write my thoughts down.

I read all the entries and I can tell you it was not easy to pick at all. I read them over and over again. I was looking for passion and I found it. Every entry had a story behind it and I am thankful that you shared.

To claim your prize just send me an email to vera @ veraraposo.com (without the spaces) and I’ll get you all set up.

If you didn’t win though all is not lost ;-)

I’ve set it up so that you can get access to all the materials that are on the inside for 30 days and only $1! It’s a real easy way for you to get in. Get in now because this offer will expire on February 9th, 2008.

I’d like to first say that every single person that posted here is a Winner. You have stepped up and voiced to the world what you want to do with  your life, for that I’m very proud! I’m almost finished narrowing this all down.  I can tell you it’s NOT been easy to pick the winners. I will be posting them here shortly.

Ok Kelly if you’re reading this, you have officially broken my heart.

My WC Heart that is.

Kelly put together a wonderful resource called the WC Mini Mag and I just loved getting it in my mailbox and curling up on my couch, or soaking in the tub reading my Mini Mag.

I was listening to Kelly’s recent show “Coffee with Kelly” and she mentioned how she’s off loading certain projects to make room for new ones. But never did I think she would turf the WC Mini Mag.

(Vera’s crying over here)

You know truly, I only recommend products that I know, use and LOVE and the WC Mini Mag was even a Monthly Resource that I featured here.

You can read my review of it here… but it’s too late, she’s finished providing it.

But you know what? Through my childish stomping… “Kelly, why, oh why?” I can know in my gut that she will be able to focus on better projects to not only help her business, but help me in my own business too.

I made a final decision just last night while I was listening to some podcasts as I folded my laundry.

And that is….

I am going to start a free podcast for you here to listen to anytime 24/7 to expand your scrapbook business.

I plan to cover many topics including setting up business from traditional retail to the online industry (or should I say phenomenon!)

I’m SO thrilled about this that I just had to share. I’ll be keeping you posted on all the details.

Elisha

I really wanted to get my business off the ground and reach a broader customer base than
what I have been reaching in the past. The information is very informative. I have only been a member for a short time but I have gotten a wealth of information to help me promote my business. I guess so for what I have gotten is a hope that I will see my dream come to reality.

Here’s what she says to anyone considering the reports…

“Go for it! You have nothing to lose. If you are serious about getting your business off the ground, it will be the best $19.95 you have ever invested.”

Scrap Venture Start Up

I’m very pleased to let you know that Scrap Venture Start Up is about a 1/3 of the way of getting completed. This is a project I took on so I could get good quality information out to you about making money with scrapbooking.

This is also going to be a free resource which will guide you along with what you need to know about starting an online scrapbook business.

You can read about my thoughts about it all here.

I’m very excited because I know this is going to help you to focus your direction into the scrapbook industry and make some money. :-)

I’ll keep you posted on the progress of it.

I have just added the comments subscription to this site. It’s right here when you leave a message all you have to do is “tick” the little box and you will receive follow up emails to stay on top of the post and the conversation.

I found this was at Yaro Starak’s blog and I’ve been enjoying using it over at his blog so I can stay on top of all the conversation on his blog.

It’s also a great idea to add it to your own blog because it will help with encouraging comments on your blog. If you want it installed, the plugin is here.

about Scrap Venture Pro….

“I joined Scrapventure Pro the first month because I knew it would be a great resource for my business and to help me expand into the scrapbooking side of things. I knew this because I knew Vera from seeing her online in various WAHM forums and communities and she KNOWS business minded scrapbooking!

I was not disappointed, the reports are perfect for anyone starting out or who has been in online business for awhile, we all need to take a fresh look at our websites once inawhile to make sure they are performing at their best.

I was looking for inspiration, I knew I wanted to incorporate digital scrapbooking into my business in 2008 to create a more passive income, but had no idea how. In spending time at Scrapventure Pro and reading the reports?

I figured it out and am now on my way, taking baby steps.

There is lots of information around the web for online business, internet marketing, etc but none of it is directed at the business of scrapbooking only and sometimes it?s hard to figure out how to apply the information to your own business, but Scrapventure Pro is scrap focused, so it takes the guess work out of how to apply the knowledge you are gaining.

Product Name: Scribe Juice 2.0
Rating: 7
Where to buy: http://www.scribejuice.com

Description: ScribeJuice 2.0 Beta is a software that teaches how to write sales copy that gets noticed.

Review: If you are like me writing sales copy for your site is not a strong point…not even close. Finding a copywriter you can afford is almost impossible if you want your copy to actually have an effect on your readers. Unless you’re a big guy on the Internet marketing block, paying thousands of dollars to have a sales page written for you just isn’t possible. That’s where ScribeJuice 2.0 will help. After finding this software my outlook on writing has changed 100%.

This software has taught me how to write sales letters that actually work. Without a sales letter that works, your business is pretty much stuck where it is.

I can send an email now that I know will be opened right off the bat. I used to put very little thought into the subject line of my emails and because of this, my open rates were very low. I didn’t grab their attention and to the trash folder they went. Now with the help of this tool I send emails that people can’t wait to read.
