Hot Mama MakeoverThere’s many times that I feel drained and I don’t have any energy for the “extras” in life. Like being taking a nice long bubbly bath, reading a magazine, or just relaxing with some music.
I also DO love my scrapbooking but I’m hardly ever in the layouts! Some days I just don’t feel pretty enough to get a picture, or I’m too tired. Many times I feel like I’m too overweight to even bother. So I need to get this all out of my head.
I have a feeling this is an issue for not just me, and this could be an issue for many more “mommy scrapbookers.” So I decided I should do a show about it since about a year ago my friend Alice Seba, made a guide just for this! Anyhow, I’ll be recording with her tomorrow night and I’m so excited about this show. I think it’ll help us all get back into our own albums. You can view her Hot Mama Makeover Guide Here.
My friend Alice Seba has invited me to list 5 reasons why I blog, (ahem) journal.
1. I can keep a record of all of my ventures on the internet. I love the internet, probably WAY too much! I blame this on my parents for not having a t.v. during my grow up years.
2. It keeps alot of my stuff together. I can post my articles, talk about life, or of course my one hobby scrapbooking… did I tell you my sister is a quilter? We love crafts!
3. They say it’s a good way to bring on some traffic to your site. Since this is a new site, I’m going to add all I can to bring it on.
4. I get to build a friendship with my fellow scrapbookers. I can talk about my scrapbooking hobby till I’m blue in the face, so I love that.
5. I can take inspiration from my blog posts and add it to my scrapbook albums, it’ll make it easy to remember certain things because I can type it into my blog, and then get ideas later.
The one thing about starting an online scrapbook business is that you need good quality products. If you are just starting out, you should look at Doba.com. They are a leading wholesale company that can sell you wholesale products or dropship them for you.
I have personally worked with this company and find them to be top notch, the only thing I would recommend is that you start out with their monthly fee.
They will offer you to sign up for a year, I encourage you to take some time to decide. If you have been product sourcing before, you will soon realize that their products are a very good wholesale price and you will benefit from their product lines.
More & More Magazines For Us Scrapbookers
Sunday, February 25th, 2007
There are so many scrapbooking magazines how do you know which one is best? And I think us scrapbookers LOVE the magazines just as much as scrapbookig itself, I know I do.
I have sitting right here with me a copy of “Scrapbooks etc.” magazine. The one thing I love about this one is that there is alot of learning inside these pages. There are just so many layouts to go through and learn from it’s wonderful.
In the last week I have purchased 3 magazines, so I’m off to go grab some tea and do some reading.
