Thoughts & Criticisms: Go Daddy is pretty user-friendly. They were the first hosting company I used. I called their technical support line several times, and the operators were always very nice and helped me solve any problems I had (things like installing FrontPage extensions, etc).
Go Daddy does not allow you to host multiple domains on a shared server; they require you to purchase a server plan. You can get a virtual dedicated server plan starting at under $30 per month.
If you have explored other hosting plans, youll know that other companies allow you to host multiple domains on a shared server for under $10 per month. I have since switched to another hosting company. I still use Go Daddy for other things, such as their online file folder.
If you are only going to have one domain, Go Daddy is a good deal. However, if you have several domains, you are better off going with a company that allows you to host more than domain on your account. Youll save a lot of money!!
